handshaking 2

RELATIONSHIPS

“All my relationships are harmonious.”

It seems all of life is relationships. We have relationships with everything. You are even having a relationship now with the book you are reading and with me and my concepts.

The relationships you have with objects and food and weather and transportation and with people all reflect the relationship you have with yourself. The relationship you have with yourself is highly influenced by the relationships you had with the adults around you as a child. The way the adults reacted to us is often the way we react toward ourselves now, both positively and negatively.

Think for a moment of the words you use when you are scolding yourself. Aren’t they the same words your parents used when they were scolding you? What words did they use when they praised you? I’m sure you use the same words to praise yourself.

family-reunion

Perhaps they never praised you, so then you have no idea how to praise yourself and probably think you have nothing to praise. I am not blaming our parents, because we are all victims of victims. They could not possibly teach you anything they did not know.

Sondra Ray, the great rebirther who has done so much work relationships, clams that every major relationship we have is a reflection of the relationship we had with one of our parents. She also claims that until we clean up that first one, we will never be free to create exactly what we want in relationships.

businesspeople-people-working_

Relationships are mirrors of ourselves. What we attract always mirrors either qualities we have or beliefs we have about relationships. This is true whether it is a boss, a co-worker, an employee, a friend. A lover, a spouse or child. Things you don’t like about these people are either what you yourself do or would not do, or what you believe. You could not attract them or have them in your life if the way they are didin’t somehow complement your own life.

EXERCISE: Us Versus Them

Look for a moment at someone in your life who bothers you. Describe three things about this person you don’t like, things that you want him or her to change.

Now look deeply inside you and ask yourself, “Where am I like that, and when do I do the same things?”

Close your eyes and give yourself the time to do this.

Then ask yourself if you ARE WILLING TO CHANGE. When you remove these patterns, habits, and beliefs from your thinking and behavior, either the other person will change or he or she will leave your life.

If you have a boss who is critical and impossible to please, look within. Either you do that on some level or you have a belief that “bosses are always critical and impossible to please.”

If you have an employee who won’t obey or doesn’t follow through. Look to see where you do that and clean it up. Firing someone is too easy; it doesn’t clear your pattern

If there is a coworker who won’t cooperate and be part of the team, look to see how you could have attracted this. Where are you noncooperative?

If you have a friend who is undependable and lets you down, turn within. Where in your life are you undependable, and when do you let others down? Is that your belief?

AdamKrystal%20Kissy

If you have a lover who is cold and seems unloving, look to see if there is a belief within you that came from watching your parents in your childhood that says, “Love is cold and undemonstrative.”

If you have a spouse who is nagging and nonsupportive, again look to yhour childhood beliefs. Did you that way?

If you have a child who has habits that irritate you, I will grarantee that they are your habits. Children learn only by imitating the adults around them. Clear it within you, and you’ll find that they change automatically.

This is the only way to change others — change ourselves first. Change your patterns, and you will find that “they” are different, too.

Blame is useless. Blaming only gives away our power. Keep your power. Without power, we cannot make changes. The helpless victim cannot see a way out.

after marrige

Love comes when we least expect it, when we are not looking for it. Hunting for love never brings the right partner. It only creates longing and unhappiness. Love is never outside ourselves; love is within us.

Don’t insist that love come immediately. Perhaps you are not ready for it, or you are developed enough to attract the love you want.

Don’t settle for anybody just to have someone. Set your standards. What kind of love do you want to attract? List the qualities in yourself, and you will attract a person who has them.

You might examine what may be keeping love away. Could it be criticism? Feelings of unworthiness? Unreasonable standards? Movie star images? Fear of intimacy? A belief that you are unlovable?

Be ready for love when it does come. Prepare the field and be ready to nourish love. Be loving, and you will be lovable. Be open and receptive to love.

In the infinity of life where I am,

All is perfect, whole, and complete.

I live in harmony and balance with everyone I know.

Deep at the center of my being, there is an infinite well of love.

I now allow this love to flow to the surface.

It fills my heart, my body, my mind, my consciousness,

My very being, and radiates out from me in all directions

And returns to me multiplied.

The more love I use and give, the more I have to give.

The supply is endless.

The use of love makes me feel good;

It is an expression of my inner joy. I love myself;

Therefore, I take loving care of my body.

I lovingly feed it nourishing foods and beverages,

I lovingly groom it and dress it, and my body lovingly

Responds to me with vibrant health and energy.

I love myself; therefore, I provide for myself a comfortable home,

One that fills all my needs and is a pleasure to be in.

O fo;; the rpp,s wotj the vonratopm pf ;pve

So that all who enter, myself included, will feel this love

And be nourished by it.

I love myself; therefore, I work at a job I truly enjoy doing,

One that uses my creative talents and abilities,

Working with and for people I love and who love me,

And earning a good income.

I love myself; therefore, I behave and think in a loving way

To all people for I know that which I give out

Returns to me multiplied.

I only attract loving people in my world,

For they are a mirror of what I am.

I love myself; therefore, I forgive and totally release the past

And all past experiences, and I am free.

I love myself; therefore, I live totally in the now,

Experiencing each moment as good and knowing that my future

Is bright and joyous and secure,

For I am a beloved child of the Universe,

And the universe lovingly takes care of me

now and forever more. All is well in my world.

HOW TO CHANGE

“I CROSS BRIDGES WITH JOY AND WITH EASE.”

I love “how to’s.” All the theory in the world is useless unless we know how to apply it and make a change. I have always been a very pragmatic, practical person with  great need to know how to do things.

The principles we will be working with at this time are:

Nurturing the willingness to let go,

Controlling the mind, and

Learning how forgiveness of self and others releases us.

Releasing the Need

Sometimes when we try to release a pattern, the whole situation seems to get worse for a while. This is not a bad. It is a sign that the situation is beginning to move. Our affirmations are working, and we need to keep going.

Examples

We are working in increasing prosperity, and we lose our wallet.

We are working on improving our relationships, and we have a fight.

We are working on becoming healthy, and we catch a cold.

We are working on expressing our creative talents and abilites and we get fired.

Sometimes the problem moves in a different direction, and we begin to see and understand more. For example, let’s assume you are trying to give up smoking and your saying, “I am willing to release the ‘need’ for cigarettes.” As you continue to do this, you notice your relationships becoming more uncomfortable.

Don’t despair, this is a sign of the process working.

You might ask yourself a series of questions like: “Am I willing to give up uncomfortable relationships? Were my cigarettes creating a smoke screen so I wouldn’t see how uncomfortable these relationships are? Why am I creating these relationships?”

You notice the cigarettes are only a symptom and not a cause. Now your are developing insight and understanding that will set you free.

You begin to say, “I am willing to release the ‘need’ for uncomfortable relationships?”

Then you notice the reason you’re so uncomfortable is that other people always seem to be criticizing you.

Being aware that we always create all of our experiences, you now begin to say, “I am willing to release the need to be criticized.”

You then think about criticism, and you realize that as a child you received lot of criticism. That little kid inside of you only feels “at home” when it being criticized. Your way of hiding from this had been to create a “smoke screen.”

Perhaps you see nest step as affirming, “I am willing to forgive.”

As you continue to do your affirmations, you may find that cigarettes no longer attract you, and the people in your life not longer criticize you. Then you know you have released your need.

This usually takes a little while to work out. If you are gently persistent and are willing to give yourself a few quit moments each day to reflect on our process of change, you will get the answers. The intelligence within you is the same intelligence that created the entire planet. Trust our Inner Guidance to reveal to you whatever it is you need to know.

Exercise: Releasing the Need

In a workshop situation, I would have you do this exercise with a partner. However, you can do it equally as will using a mirror — a big one, if possible.

Think for a moment about something in your life you want to change.

Go to the mirror an look into your eyes and say out loud, “I now realize that I have created this condition, and I am now willing to release the pattern in my consciousness that is responsible for this condition.” Say it several times, with feeling.

If you were with a partner, I would have your partner tell you if he really thought you meant it. I would want you to convince your partner.

Ask yourself if you really mean it. Convince yourself in the mirror that this time you are ready to step out of the bondage of the past.

At this point many people get scared because of they don’t know HOW to do this releasing. They are afraid to commit themselves until they know all the answers. It’s only more resistance. Just pass through it.

One of the great things is that we do not have to know how. All we need is to be willing. The universal Intelligence or your subconscious mind will figure out the hows. Every thought you think and every word you speak is being responded to, and the point of power is in the moment. The thoughts you are thinking and the words you are decalaring at this moment are creating your future.

Your Mind Is a Tool

You are much more than your mind. You may think your mind is running the show. But that is only because you have trained your mind to think in this way. You can also untrain and retrain this tool of yours.

Your mind is a tool for you to use in any way you wish. The way you now use your mind is only a habit, and habits, any habits, can be changed if we want to do so, or even if we only know it is possible to do so.

Quiet the chatter of your mind for a moment, and really think about this concept: Your mind is a tool you can choose to use any way you wish.

The thoughts you “choose” to think create the experiences you have. If you believe that it is hard or difficult to change a habit or a thought, then your choice of this thought will make it true for you. If you would choose to think. “It is becoming easier for me to make changes,” then your choice of this thought will make that true for you.

Controlling the Mind

There is an incredible power and intelligence within you constantly responding to your thoughts and words. As you learn to control your mind by the conscious choice of thoughts, you align yourself with this power.

Do not think your mind is in control. You are in control of your mind. You use your mind. You can stop thinking those old thoughts.

When your old thinking tries to come back and say, “I now choose to believe it is becoming easier for me to make changes. “You may have to have this conversation with your mind several times for this to acknowledge that you are in control and that what you say goes.

The Only Thing You Ever Have Any Control of I Your Current Thought

Your thoughts are gone; there is nothing you can do about them except live out the experiences they caused. Your current thought, the one you are thinking right now, is totally under your control.

Example

If you have a little child who has been allowed to stay up as late as he wishes for a long time, and then you make a decision that you now want this child to go to bed at 8:00 every night, what do you think the night will be like?

The child will rebel against this new rule and may kick and scream and do his best to stay out of bed. If you relent at this time, the child wins and will try to control your forever.

However, if you calmly stick to your decision and firmly insist that this is the new bedtime, the rebellion will lessen. In two or three nights, the new routine will be established.

It is the same thing with our mind. Of course it will rebel at first. It does not want to be retrained. But you are in control. And if you stay focused and firm, in a very short time the new way of thinking will be established. And you will feel so good to realize that you are not a helpless victim of your own thoughts, but rather a master of your own mind.

Exercise: Letting Go

As you read this, take a deep breath and, as you exhale, allow all the tension to leave your body. Let your scalp and your forehead and your face relax. Your head dies not need to be tense in order for you to read. Let your tongue and your throat and your shoulders relax. You can hold a book with relaxed arms and hands. Do that now. Let your back and your abdomen and your pelvis relax. Let your breathing be at peace as you relax your legs and feet.

Is here a big change in your body since you began the previous paragraph? Notice how much you hold on. If you are doing it with your body, you are doing it with your mind.

In this relaxed, comfortable position, say to yourself. “I am willing to let go. I release. I let go. I release all tension. I release all fear. I release all anger. I release all guilt. I release all sadness. I let go of all old limitations. I let go, and I am at peace. I am at peace with myself. I am at peace with the process of life. I am safe.”

Go over this exercise two or three times. Feel the ease if letting go. Repeat it whenever you feel thoughts of difficulty coming up. It takes a little practice for the routine to become a part of you. When you put yourself into this peaceful state first, it becomes easy for your affirmations to take hold. You become open and receptive tothem. There is no need to struggle or stress or strain. Just relax and think the appropriate thoughts. Yes, it is this easy.

Physical Releasing

Sometimes we need to experience a physical letting go. Experiences and emotions can get locked in the body. Screaming in the car with all the window rolled up can very releasing if we have been stifling our verbal expression. Beating the bed or kinking pillows in a harmless way to release pent-up anger, as is playing tennis or running.

Awhile ago, I had a pain in my shoulder for a day or two. I tried to ignore it, but it wouldn’t go away. Finally, I sat down and asked myself, “what is happening here? What am I feeling?”

I realized, “it feels like burning. Burning…. Burning…. That means anger. What are you angry about?”

I couldn’t think of what I was angry about, so I said, “Well, let’s see if we can find out.” I put two large pillows on the bed and began to hit them with a lot of energy.

After about twelve hits, I realized exactly what I was angry about. It was so clear. So I beat the pillows even harder and made some noise and released the emotions from my body. When I got through I felt much better, and the next day my shoulder was fine.

Letting the Past Hold You Back

Many people come to me and say they cannot enjoy today because of something that happened in the past. Because they did not do something or do it in a certain way in the past, they cannot live a full life today. Because they no longer have something they had in the past, they cannot enjoy today. Because they were hurt in the past, they will not accept love now. Because something unpleasant happened when they did something once, they are sure it will happen again today. Because they once did something that they are sorry for, they are sure they are bad people forever. Because once someone did something to them, it is now all the other person’s fault that their life is not where they want it to be. Because they became angry over a situation in the past, they will hold on to that self-righteousness. Because of some very old experience where they were treated badly, they will never forgive and forget.

Because I did not get invited to the high school prom, I cannot enjoy life today.

Because I did poorly at my first audition, I will be terrified of auditions forever.

Because I am no longer married, I cannot live a full life today.

Because I am no longer married, I cannot live a full life today.

Because I was hurt by a remark once, I will never trust any one again.

Because I stole something once, I must punish myself forever.

Because I was poor as a child, I will never get anywhere.

What we often refuse to realize is that holding on to the past —- no matter what it was or how awful it was — is ONLY HURTING US. ‘They” really don’t care. Usually, “they” are not even aware. We are only hurting ourselves by refusing to live in this moment to the fullest.

The past is over and done and cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience. Even when we lament about the past, we experiencing our memory of it in this moment, and losing the real experience of this moment in the process.

Exercise: Releasing

Let us now clean up the past in our minds. Release the emotional attachment to it. Allow the memories to be just memories.

If you think back to what you used to wear in the third grade, usually there is no emotional attachment. It’s just a memory.

I can be same for all of the past events in our lives. As we let go, e become free to use all our mental power to enjoy this moment and to create a great future.

List all the things yo are willing to let go of. How willing are you to do this? Notice your reactions. What will you have to do to let these thing go? How willing are you to do so? What is your resistance level?

Forgiveness

Next step,  forgiveness. Forgiveness of ourselves and of others releases us from the past. The course in Miracles says over and over that forgiveness is the answer to almost everything. I know that when we are stuck, it usually means there is some more grogiving to be done. When we do not flow freely with life in the present moment, it usually means we are holding on to a past moment. It can be regret, sadness, hurt, fear, or guilt, blame anger, resentment, and sometimes even the desire for revenge. Each one of these states comes from a space of unforgiveness, a refusal to let go and come into the present moment.

Love is always the answer to healing of any sort. And the pathway to love is forgiveness. Forgiveness dissolves resentment. There are several ways in which I approach this.

Exercise: Dissolving Resentment

There is an old Emmet Fox exercise for dissolving resentment that always works. He recommends that you sit quietly, close your eyes, and allow your mind and body to relax. Then, imagine yourself sitting in a darkened theater, and in front of you is a small stage. On that stage, place the person you resent the most. It could be someone in the past or present, living or dead. When you see this person clearly, visualize good things happening to this person — things that would be meaningful to him. See him smiling and happy.

Hold this image for a few minutes, then let it fade away. I like to add another step. As this person leaves the stage, put yourself up there. See good things happening to you. See yourself smiling and happy. Be aware the the abundance of the universe is available to all of us.

The above exercise dissolves the dark clouds of resentment most of  carry. For some, it will be very difficult to do. Each time you do it, you may get a different person. Do it once a day for a month, and notice how much lighter you feel.

Exercise: Revenge

Those on the spiritual pathway know the importance of forgiveness. For some of us, there is a step that is necessary before we can totally forgive,. Sometimes the little kid in us needs to have revenge before it is free to forgive. For that, this exercise is very helpful.

Close your eyes, sit quietly and peacefully. Think of the people who are hardest to forgive. What would you really like to do to them? What do they need to do to get your forgiveness? Imagine that happening now. Get into details. How long do you want them to suffer or do penance?

When you feel complete, condense time and let it be over forever. Usually at this point you feel lighter, and it is easier to think about forgiveness. To indulge in this every day would not be good for you. To do it once as a closing exercise can be freeing.

Exercise: Forgiveness

Now we are ready to forgive. Do this exercise with a partner if you can, or do it out loud if you are alone.

Again, sit quietly with your eyes closed and say, “The person I need to forgive is __________ and I forgive you for __________.”

Do this over and over. You will have many things to forgive some for and only one or two to forgive others for. If you have a partner, let him say to you, “Thank you, I dry you free now.” If you do not, then imagine the person you are forgiving saying it to you. Do this for at least five or ten minutes. Search your heart for the injustices you still carry. Then let them go.

When you have cleared as much as you can for now, turn your attention to yourself. Say out loud to yourself, “I forgive myself for _________ .” Do this for another five minutes or so. These are powerful exercises and good to do at once a week to clear out any remaining rubbish. Some experiences are easy to let go and some we have to chip away at, until suddenly one day they let go and dissolve.

Exercise Visualization

Another good exercise. Have someone read this one to you if you can, or put it on tape and listen to it.

Begin to visualize yourself as a little child of five or six. Look deeply into this little child’s eyes. See the longing that is there and realize that there is only one thing this little child wants from you, and that is love. So reach out your arms and embrace this child. Hold it with love and tenderness. Tell it how much you love it, how much you care. Admire everything about this child and say that it’s okay to make mistakes while learning. Promise that you will always be there no matter what. Now let this little child get very small, until it just the size to fit into your heart. Put it there so whenever you look down, you can see this little face looking up at you and you can give it lots of love.

Now visualize your mother as a little girl of four or five, frightened and looking for love and not knowing where to find. Reach out your arms and hold this little girl and let her know how much you love her, how much you care. Let her know she can rely on you to always be there, no matter what. When she quiets down and begins to feel safe, let her get very small, just the size to fit into your heart. Put her there with your own little child. Let them give each other lots of love.

Now imagine your father as a little boy of three or four — frightened, crying, and looking for love. See the tears rolling down his little face when he doesn’t know where to turn. You have become good at comforting frightened little children, so reach out your arms and hold his trembling little body. Comfort him. Croon to him. Let him feel how much you love him. Let him feel that you will always be there for him.

When his tears are dry, and you feel the love and peace in his little body, let him get very small, just the size to fit into your hear. Put him there so those three little children can give each other lots of love and you can love them all.

  • *  *

There is so much love in your heart that you could heal the entire planet. But just for now let us use this love to heal you. Feel a warmth beginning to glow in your heart center, a softness, a gentleness. Let this feeling begin to change the way you think and talk about yourself.

Affirmation

In the infinity of life where I am,

All is perfect, whole and complete,

I no longer choose to believe in old limitations and lack,

I now choose to begin to see myself

As the Universe sees me — perfect, whole, and complete.

The truth of my Being is that I was created

Perfect, whole, and complete.

I will always be perfect, whole, and complete.

I now choose to live my life from this understanding.

I am in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.

All is well in my world

Introduction to Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of healing that is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. What makes

Reiki unique is that it incorporates elements of just about every other alternative healing practices

such as spiritual healing, auras, crystals, chakra balancing, meditation, aromatherapy,

naturopathy, and homeopathy.

Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to patient to enhance the body’s natural

ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy. Reiki utilizes specific techniques for restoring

and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. It is a holistic, natural, hands-on

energy healing system that touches on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word representing universal life energy, the energy

which is all around us. It is derived from rei, meaning “free passage” or “transcendental spirit” and

ki, meaning “vital life force energy” or ” universal life energy”.

What Is Reiki?

kundalinil

Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonize. Unlike other

healing therapies based on the premise of a human energy field, Reiki seeks to restore order to

the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.

Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, destroys energy

blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy,

and increases the vibrational frequency of the body.

The laying of hands is used in Reiki therapy also as in spiritual healing. There is a difference

though. In spiritual healing, a person with a strong energy field places his or her hands above a

particular part of the recipient’s body in order to release energy into it. So, here the healer is the

one who is sending out the energy. In Reiki, however, the healer places the hands above the

recipient; however, it is the recipient that draws the energy as needed. Thus, in this case, the

individual being healed takes an active part in the healing process as opposed to having a

passive part in spiritual healing. The individual takes responsibility for his or her healing. The

recipient identifies the needs and cater to them by drawing energy as needed.

Although there are a few positions in which the practitioner is in contact with the patient (such as

cradling the head), most Reiki treatments do not involve actual touching. The practitioner holds

his or her hands a few inches or farther away from the patient’s body and manipulates the energy

field from there.

History of Reiki

Reiki is believed to have begun in Tibet several thousand years ago. Seers in the Orient studied

energies and developed a system of sounds and symbols for universal healing energies. Various

healing systems, which crossed many different cultures, emerged from this single root system.

Unfortunately, the original source itself was forgotten.

mikaousui

Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian educator in Kyoto, Japan, rediscovered the root system in

the mid- to late 1800s. He began an extensive twenty-one-year study of the healing phenomena

of history’s greatest spiritual leaders. He also studied ancient sutras (Buddhist teachings written

in Sanskrit). He discovered ancient sounds and symbols that are linked directly to the human

body and nervous system which activate the universal life energy for healing.

Usui then underwent a metaphysical experience and became empowered to use these sounds

and symbols to heal. He called this form of healing Reiki and taught it throughout Japan until his

death around 1893.

The tradition was passed through several grandmasters of reiki such as Dr. Chujiro Hyashi,

Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto.

There are many forms of reiki being practiced now. The two principal ones are: “the Usui System

of Natural Healing” and “the Radiance Technique.”

The Usui System of Natural Healing balances and strengthens the body’s energy, promoting its

ability to heal itself.

Reiki is useful in treating serious serious illnesses as well as others. Examples are: sports

injuries, cuts, burns, internal diseases, emotional disorders, and stress-related illnesses.

Reiki was introduced to the Western world in the mid-1970s. Since then its use has spread

dramatically

Reiki Energy

Reiki

Reiki energy is regarded as life energy at its most effective-with the maximum vibration. It is

considered to have an almost divine quality and as such includes everything, in a world where

problems and disorders are deemed to be due to the feeling of detachment from the world. There

is no division of Reiki energy into positive and negative forms but when a person undergoes a

session of therapy, they allow the energy to be taken into themselves with beneficial effects.

Essentially, those receiving Reiki energy decide subconsciously just how much of the life energy

is taken in.

Those who use Reiki regularly often find they are more joyful, lively and their own in-built energy

is enhanced-almost as if their batteries had been fully charged! Existing conflicts within the

person are broken down and there is a greater vitality, leading to relaxation and a stimulation of

the body. As this improvement develops, the natural processes of renewal and removal of toxins

are enhanced and rendered more effective, ultimately opening up more of the body to the life

energy.

Body organs such as the skin, and protective systems such as the immune system are improved

providing the individual is prepared regularly to undertake Reiki and in the first place to undergo

an attunement or initiation into Reiki energy. The initiation is merely a means whereby the

universal life energy is bestowed through the Reiki master. The master acts as a channel and a

link with God to release the healing power.

An initiation is not absolutely essential but it allows the individual access to the universal life

energy, which is used rather than their own life energy. Also, an initiation conveys a greater

capacity for using Reiki energy, with no associated tiredness and further, it provides a protective

mechanism against any negative manifestations

Initiation or Becoming a Reiki Master

Through a series of attunements, part of the initiation process for new Reiki practitioners, a Reiki

master employs the ancient sounds and symbols that attune an individual’s nervous system to a

higher level of energy. A level is reached in which the students , neither highly trained nor

especially gifted, can experience more energy flowing through their hands, giving them the power

to heal themselves and others.

Reiki is taught in three levels or degrees. In Level I or First Degree, the participant receives

attunement or initiation to the Reiki energy by the Reiki master. This permanently guides the

person to greater healing power. The student learns how to do full body treatments on self and

others.

In Level II or Second Degree, the participant receives attunements which increase the strength of

the practitioner’s Reiki energy. This primarily involves learning the sounds and symbols which are

used in advanced Reiki bodywork and absentee healing.

In Level III or Third Degree, the participant receives third-level empowerment and the ‘ final

symbol’. It is taught mainly for personal growth. A person who has completed the third level is

able to give the Level I Reiki attunement.

Who Does The Reiki Master Initiation?

Practitioners study with Reiki masters to learn how to access ki and become a channel for its

transmission. Students learn basic healing patterns and the “laying on of hands” for themselves

and others. More advanced practitioners may use absentee healing-which involves practicing

Reiki on someone from a long distance, such as a different part of the country- or goal-oriented

healing to address specific problems.

The Use of Whole-Body Reiki

Since, a disease or disorder in one area will inevitably affect the whole body, the use of Reiki is

best applied to the whole-body, to cleanse and revitalize the complete system.

The implementation of Reiki is highly ritualized and ceremonious. Many practitioners undertake a

particular routine before commencing a regime of whole-body treatment. The main elements are

briefly described below.

Preparing For Whole-Body Reiki

Remove jewelry

Jewelry contains items such as stones (semi-precious or precious), metal rings or chains, leather

thongs or a variety of other objects. Many of these will attract energies that may interfere with the

life energy of Reiki. Items such as watches create a closed circuit that reduce the flow of life

energy. Earrings are especially a problem. The pierced ears interfere with the flow of energy. The

ears are very important in many therapies such as acupuncture that utilize meridians and must be

kept unencumbered.

Wash hands

There are two reasons for washing hands. First, there is the physical effect of cleaning. It makes

the hands pleasant to feel for the recipient of Reiki. Hot, sticky hands should be avoided in Reiki

as they are not conducive to the state of relaxation being sought.

The second benefit relates to the aura surrounding the body. This aura may be affected by

contact with objects, people, etc over the course of the day and washing removes such

influences, which could, in sensitive people, have an adverse effect.

Say a prayer

It is helpful at this stage to recite a short prayer asking for healing and to concentrate upon and

acknowledge your aims, self-perception and those of the person upon whom your hands will be

placed. The prayer makes you ready to enter into the relaxation process.

Even out the aura

the_human_aura_color

This is a means of gently making contact and starting the therapy. It involves a number of steps.

Ask the person to lie down.

Sit beside the person; put your left hand on your sacrum.

With your right hand held about 6-9 inches(15-25 cm) above the body and

palm facing down, move your hand along the length of the body from the

head to the toes.

Return the hand to the starting point using a circular motion along the side of

the body.

Repeat this three or four times

This process can be repeated after the Reiki therapy when your left hand can

be placed on the sacrum of the recipient.

Energize

When each Reiki therapy session is complete the whole body may be energized via the root

chakra. The hand is held vertically above the body and then quickly moved from the pelvis to the

head.

The Practice of Whole-Body Reiki

Before the Whole Body Reiki Treatment

There is great scope for variation in the number and sequence of positions used for whole-body

treatment. It will depend greatly upon the practitioner and what is felt to be best for the recipient,

but no one sequence can be deemed the best one for all. It is important to be certain that your

client/partner is not suffering from any illness or condition that might require the attention of

another health professional. Reiki has its particular uses but it is unwise to try to address

problems that clearly fall beyond its scope. The client can easily ask advice from their doctor, or

other professional, as to whether they should undergo Reiki therapy.

The extent of each session of Reiki will vary depending upon circumstances and the individual

receiving treatment. Certain positions may be better left out of the sequence or therapy may be

focused on a particular area to help relieve blockages or deal with tension. If the recipient is

currently on a regime of medication then a shorter session may be appropriate.

Similarly, if dealing with a small child or an elderly or infirm person, it is probably wise to limit the

therapy to a session of 15 to 20 minutes. In all cases the Reiki practitioner should be sensitive to

and aware of the condition, needs and well being of the recipient.

The Practice of Whole-Body Reiki

Positions In Reiki Therapy

The hands are clearly the ‘instruments’ of healing in Reiki. The position in which the hands are

placed on the recipient is important. However, it may be varied depending on the circumstances.

Just placing the hands on the appropriate part of the body is sufficient.

Reiki can be effected through clothing, as the energy will flow the clothing. But many people

prefer to have no material obstacles to the therapy.

The Head

The hands are placed either side of the nose, with the palms covering the eyes; the thumbs rest

by the bridge of the nose and the fingertips cover the cheeks and reach the upper lip. This

arrangement covers the sinuses, eyes, Pituitary gland, and teeth. It is useful for dealing with

colds, sinusitis, eye complaints, allergies, fatigue and general discontent.

Another position is to place the hands over the ears, with the fingertips extending down the jaw-

line to the neck, encompassing the ears including the semi-circular canals, responsible for

balance. The effect also extends to the pharyngeal area. Diseases and problems of these organs

such as colds, trouble with balance, hearing loss, etc. are dealt with in this position.

For relieving conditions such as headaches, colds, asthma and circulatory problems, place the

hands on the back of the head. It also promotes relaxation.

The Chest And Abdomen

There are many variations for the chest and abdomen; we will only discuss a few here.

The arrangement for the thymus, heart and lungs is as follows: one hand is laid across the

thymus and the other at 90 degrees starting just below and between the breasts. The thymus is a

bi-lobed gland in the neck. It is an important part of the immune system. This arrangement

therefore reinforces the immune system and helps the lymphatics, the heart, lungs and counters

any general debility.

Another technique is to place the hands on either side of the navel and slightly to one side. The

stomach and digestive organs are the focus of attention here and the conditions/symptoms

addressed are the digestion and the metabolism. Specifically, this treatment will combat nausea,

heartburn, gastrointestinal diseases and indigestion. Because the presence of such conditions

often results in tension and worry, the relief of symptoms will similarly help relieve anxiety and

depression.

There are two other positions that are worth exploring: Here, the hands are placed in a position

similar to that used to focus on the stomach and digestive organs but further away from the body

midline. Approach the body from the right side of the recipient. Place your left hand around the

base of the ribcage. In this position, we are dealing with the gall bladder and liver. This position is

for diseases and conditions of these important organs and associated problems of a metabolic

system. The liver is a vital organ in the process of removing toxins from the body. Hence this

arrangement is very important for healing those ailments.

The position related to this one is essentially a reflection where the hands are placed on the left

side of the body to encompass the area of the bowels, spleen and some of the pancreas. Here,

diseases of these organs such as indigestion and healthy blood are all dealt with.

Another position involves focusing on the appendix, intestines and urinogenital organs. The

hands are placed where the pelvic bones are covered and meet over the pubic area. This is used

for the healing of a number of ailments associated with the appendix, intestines and urinogenital

organs. It is also useful for the treatment of allergies, general debility, problems of a sexual nature

and related to weight. It is believed to reinforce the immune system.

The Back

Here again, there are a number of positions that are used. In one such position, the hands are

placed across the shoulder blades at mid to upper point, to influence the intestines, lung, heart

and various muscles in the neck and shoulder region. This will help lung and heart diseases,

muscular tension, headaches and related conditions.

If the hands are placed lower down the back, around the midriff (on the lower ribs) this position

will accommodate the kidneys and adrenal glands. (The adrenal glands are situated one each on

the upper surface of each kidney and are important because they manufacture hormones that

control a variety of body functions.)

The Benefits Of Whole-Body Reiki

A Reinforcing Effect

The whole body Reiki is used to treat the whole body to achieve relaxation. It facilitates the

removal of blockages in energy flow and the dispersal of toxins.

Long-term practice of whole-body Reiki will restore the general condition of the body. The energy

channels are opened to allow the body to deal properly and naturally with both stress and the

build-up of toxins. It will help you to cope with anxiety and depression.

Reiki therapy is also useful when you are recovering from an illness. Reiki will provide the

additional energy required to recover from the illness. It will also reinforce the effects of any other

method of natural healing. It can be used as a supplementary therapy as it is a truly

complementary system of treatment.

Reduction Of Side-Effects

Reiki therapy can be a very useful adjunct for anyone taking a course of drugs. It can help reduce

some of the side effects of drug therapy. Reiki helps the body in the recovery after drug therapy,

after surgery and after chemotherapy. In all these cases, Reiki therapy supplies the body with

extra life energy, enabling the body to bounce back more quickly from the burdens of surgery and

chemicals.

In some cases, use of Reiki therapy after an operation will lessen pain. It will accelerate the

natural healing processes. The key to success is that the therapy be undertaken on a regular

basis. When a person is enjoying good health, the regular therapy increases the body’s built-in

defenses which manifests itself as a confidence and outward harmony in dealing with everyday

events. It bestows a greater ability to deal with stressful situations. You will gain a positive outlook

on life. Once the blockages and toxins have been removed from the system, the scope for

personal advancement and growth becomes available. In general, the better metabolic

functioning afforded by Reiki therapy means that benefits and improvements may be experienced

in many ways.

Combination Treatments: Reiki With Other Holistic Therapies

Reiki therapy works very well in combination with other holistic therapies. Virtually any treatment

can be used. We will examine a few such combinations to illustrate the synergy that can be

accomplished.

Reiki And The Use Of Crystals

Crystal therapy involves the use of precious and semi-precious stones. The stones are believed

to store positive energy and they act as a conduit for healing from the practitioner to the recipient.

They also believed to generate a healing vibration that acts upon the body. In some cases the

stone is placed on the body where treatment is focused, in others it may be positioned on the

appropriate acupuncture point. Most therapists use quartz for physical healing, amethyst for

spiritual healing and rose quartz to heal emotions. Fluorite may be used to develop awareness

and knowledge of a spiritual nature.

In Reiki, three varieties of quartz are commonly used-amethyst, rose quartz and ordinary quartz

(or rock crystal). The crystal structure of quartz is often taken to be related to the six chakras and

the tip of the crystal to the seventh chakra. Practitioners recommend using rock crystal to avoid

feeling overpowered by changes, mounting pressures and the stress of everyday life. Carrying

the crystal or wearing it is meant to bring light into your workaday routines.

Rock crystal, held in the hand or between the hands, can also be used in conjunction with Reiki

meditation. The energy emanating from the crystal is thought to go into the palms and then the

rest of the body via the reflex zones. It is recommended by some in a variety of applications such

as relaxation, wound-healing with other therapy and treating particular organs.

Rose quartz, with its soft pink coloration, is used for mending emotional problems. Examples are:

shutting out certain desires or facing trauma and stress brought about by a separation.

The use of amethyst with Reiki is varied. It is said to help promote the proper function of an organ

that has been under treatment. Placed on the Third Eye (center of the forehead), it facilitates

clearer vision in one’s path through life. It can also reduce tension and fear.

Combination Treatments: Reiki With Other Holistic Therapies

Meditation With Reiki

Reiki is said to assist in the concentration required for meditation, with the flow of energy aiding

relaxation. There are some positions that can be adopted in Reiki meditation to achieve particular

goals. In the first position the legs are drawn up and the soles of the feet put together with the

knees falling apart. This can be done while lying down or sitting against a wall or chair. The hands

adopt a praying gesture. This is meant to complete the circuit of energy, allowing a flow around

the body. The Reiki energy removes any blockages and performed regularly, this becomes a

powerful meditation exercise. It can be done for short periods initially, just a couple of minutes,

and then built up in small increases.

Group meditation is also possible with Reiki, in which the participants stand in a circle with hands

joined.

Aromatherapy Blended With Reiki

Aromatherapy employs essential oils extracted from plants. The oils can be used in three ways:

by direct application, bathing in water to which a few drops of the appropriate oil have been

added, and inhalation.

When used in conjunction with Reiki, some oils can be applied directly on particular areas of the

body, or their aroma can be made to fill the room using an aroma lamp. Below a few oils are

considered and their use compared to their therapeutic value in aromatherapy.

Lavender

In aromatherapy lavender is a tonic with relaxing effects. It is also an antiseptic, an antispasmodic

and stimulates the appetite. It is also used for minor burns and wounds. Its soothing effects

render it helpful for headaches, tension and similar conditions.

In Reiki, lavender is associated primarily with recipients who are sensitive and easily hurt. In long

sessions of Reiki lavender helps to promote the calm and confidence necessary for a period of

building and strengthening of the life force energy.

Sandalwood

In aromatherapy, sandalwood oil is prized for its relaxing and antiseptic effects. It forms a very

effective oil for application to the skin (especially facial), particularly for dry or sensitive skin.

Sandalwood oil produces an ambience conducive to the Reiki therapy because the oil is

considered to elicit trust and confidence, between practitioner and recipient.

Clary sage

Clary sage is a tonic, antispasmodic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and more. It

is also used to treat colds, menstrual problems and its very low toxicity renders it suitable for

general use.

In a session of Reiki therapy, clary sage is used to open blocked channels and to enhance

sensitivity.

Patchouli

Patchouli has some aphrodisiac qualities, and is also used to treat skin disorders and minor bums

because of its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic qualities.

It is also used in Reiki therapy for allergies and impurities of the skin; but the fundamental use

and aim is to enhance the sensual qualities and aspects of life.

Reiki and Prescription drugs

Many Reiki therapists believe that Reiki can readily affect the way in which drugs work in the

body. Side effects of drugs can be lessened through the use of Reiki, and in some cases it is

reported that the process will be accelerated. In addition, Reiki makes the body more receptive to

drugs. Thus, it may be beneficial to undergo Reiki therapy prior to the start of a course of drugs.

The relaxed state rendered by Reiki may also counter, to some extent, the efficacy of an

anesthetic. However, injections such as anesthetics can more readily and easily be released from

the body with the help of Reiki.

Although minor pains can often be remedied through the use of Reiki alone, stronger pain killers

do not have their effect lessened by Reiki. The interaction between Reiki and drugs is neither well

tested nor documented

Reiki and Homeopathy

In conjunction with Homeopathy, Reiki provides a reinforcing effect by rendering the treatment

more effective. Reiki can help avoid strain, improve the removal of toxins and increase the body’s

sensitivity. After treatment, whole-body Reiki will help recovery.

Reiki and Bach remedies

These are named after Edward Bach who studied plants with healing qualities. He identified 38

plants, the flowers of which he floated on clear spring water. This, he believed, transferred

medicinal properties to the water which could be given to patients. His practice mimicked the

drops of dew found on the plant which was used in the beginning. Stock solutions are diluted in

water and a few drops taken.

Typical examples are:

cherry plum for fear, tension, irrationality

holly for envy, jealousy and hatred

pine for guilt and constantly apologizing

sweet chestnut for despair

wild rose for apathy

As in the case of other alternative therapies, Reiki improves the effectiveness

of Bach remedies.

Is Reiki Effective?

The vast majority of reports on the effectiveness of Reiki appear in popular rather than scientific

literature. Proponents of Reiki cite the growing body of research in the field of Therapeutic Touch

as evidence of the therapeutic transfer of energy through touch.

One California study showed that Reiki can increase hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. The

study compared 47 people participating in Reiki training and a small control group of 9 healthy

medical professionals. The study found a significant increase in hemoglobin and hematocrit levels

among the Reiki group and no significant change in the control group.

Japanese Healing System Reiki and Its Benefits

DIVINE spiral5

Introduction to Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of healing that is becoming
increasingly popular worldwide. What makes Reiki unique is   that it incorporates elements of just about every other
alternative healing practices such as spiritual healing, auras, crystals, chakra balancing, meditation, aromatherapy,
naturopathy, and homeopathy.

Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to
patient to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy. Reiki utilizes specific
techniques for restoring and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. It is a holistic, natural, hands-on
energy healing system that touches on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word representing
universal life energy, the energy which is all around us. It is derived from rei, meaning “free passage” or “transcendental
spirit” and ki, meaning “vital life force energy” or ” universal life energy”.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to
heal and harmonize. Unlike other healing therapies based on the premise of a human energy field, Reiki seeks to restore
order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.

Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep
relaxation, destroys energy blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life
energy, and increases the vibrational frequency of the body.

The laying of hands is used in Reiki therapy also as in spiritual
healing. There is a difference though. In spiritual healing, a person with a strong energy field places his or her hands above
a particular part of the recipient’s body in order to release
energy into it. So, here the healer is the one who is sending out the energy. In Reiki, however, the healer places the hands
above the recipient; however, it is the recipient that draws the
energy as needed. Thus, in this case, the individual being healed takes an active part in the healing process as opposed to
having a passive part in spiritual healing. The individual takes
responsibility for his or her healing. The recipient identifies the needs and cater to them by drawing energy as needed.

Although there are a few positions in which the practitioner is
in contact with the patient (such as  cradling the head), most   Reiki treatments do not involve actual touching. The
practitioner holds his or her hands a few inches or farther away
from the patient’s body and manipulates the energy field from there.

History of Reiki

Reiki is believed to have begun in Tibet several thousand years ago. Seers in the

Orient studied energies and developed a system of sounds and symbols for

universal healing energies. Various healing systems, which crossed many different

cultures, emerged from this single root system.  Unfortunately, the original source

itself was forgotten.

Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian educator in Kyoto, Japan, rediscovered the

root system in the mid- to late 1800s. He began an extensive twenty-one-year study

of the healing phenomena of history’s greatest spiritual leaders. He also studied

ancient sutras (Buddhist teachings written in Sanskrit). He discovered ancient

sounds and symbols that are linked directly to the human body and nervous system which activate the universal life energy for healing.

mikao usui

Usui then underwent a metaphysical experience and became

empowered to use these sounds and symbols to heal. He called this form of healing Reiki and taught it throughout

Japan until his death around 1893.

The tradition was passed through several grandmasters of

reiki such as Dr. Chujiro Hyashi,  Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto.

There are many forms of reiki being practiced now. The two

principal ones are: “the Usui System of Natural Healing” and “the Radiance Technique.”

The Usui System of Natural Healing balances and

strengthens the body’s energy, promoting its ability to heal itself.

Reiki is useful in treating serious serious illnesses as well as

others. Examples are: sports injuries, cuts, burns, internal diseases, emotional disorders, and stress-related illnesses.

Reiki was introduced to the Western world in the mid-1970s.

Since then its use has spread dramatically

Reiki Energy

Reiki energy is regarded as life energy at its most effective-with
the maximum vibration. It is considered to have an almost   divine quality and as such includes everything, in a world
where problems and disorders are deemed to be due to the
feeling of detachment from the world. There is no division of Reiki energy into positive and negative forms but when a
person undergoes a session of therapy, they allow the energy to
be taken into themselves with beneficial effects. Essentially, those receiving Reiki energy decide subconsciously just how
much of the life energy is taken in.

kundalinil

Those who use Reiki regularly often find they are more joyful,
lively and their own in-built energy is enhanced-almost as if their batteries had been fully charged! Existing conflicts within
the person are broken down and there is a greater vitality,
leading to relaxation and a stimulation of the body. As this improvement develops, the natural processes of renewal and
removal of toxins are enhanced and rendered more effective,
ultimately opening up more of the body to the life energy.

Body organs such as the skin, and protective systems such as
the immune system are improved providing the individual is prepared regularly to undertake Reiki and in the first place to
undergo an attunement or initiation into Reiki energy. The
initiation is merely a means whereby the universal life energy is bestowed through the Reiki master. The master acts as a
channel and a link with God to release the healing power.

An initiation is not absolutely essential but it allows the
individual access to the universal life energy, which is used rather than their own life energy. Also, an initiation conveys a
greater capacity for using Reiki energy, with no associated
tiredness and further, it provides a protective mechanism against any negative manifestations

REIKI

In Japanese, Reiki means Universal life force energy; Rei – Universe and Ki- life force energy. In the past 3 decades, Reiki has become popular as a unique means of healing the mind, body and soul.

The human body has visible physical body and an invisible auric body. The aura is the energy field diffusely distributed around the visible physical body. The aura is distributed in seven layers and the outermost layer is the outer limit of the body. The inner most layer called inner aura having the same shape as the physical body.  In this invisible inner aura, seven major chakras are located. Chakras are the energy centres. Major chakras act as link between the universe and the body. Chakras located in the inner aura and are capable of breathing. When chakras spin, cosmic energy created by the supreme power is drawn in to the chakras (inhaling) and reaches the physical body. Thus the physical body becomes cosmic conscious. Entire universe is constituted by five elements viz. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Void  What is in the universe exists in the human body also. The five elements are distributed in Mooladhara chakra [earth] Swadhishtana Chakra [water], Manipura chakra [fire], Anahatha Chakra[air] Vishudha, Ajna and Sahasrara chakra.[ether/void].

Disease

Every physical disease has a metaphysical cause. Stress has become a part of our life. There are several causes for one to feel anxious, Diabetes, sad, angry, jealous etc. But persisting emotional disturbance blocks the flow of energy through aura and chakras. Block in the flow of energy throws the chakras in to imbalance. Imbalance or malfunctioning of a single chakra results in malfunctioning of other chakras, hormonal imbalance, imbalance among five elements. The net result is the disease of single organ or the entire system under the control the particular chakra and the physical body reveals symptoms of disease. Block for the flow of cosmic energy results in accumulation of negative energy in the organs and causes disease.

Health

Uninterrupted flow of cosmic energy without any block is the basis for health. For maintaining health, mind plays a crucial role. Mind processes the information received by the five senses (eyes, nose, ear, tongue, skin). Hence the influence of external environment gathered by these five senses plays a major role in feeding the information to the mind, the sixth sense. Thus when the mind is relaxed and free from stress the energy processed by the -mind flows to the subconscious mind through the auras and chakras. Hence feeling the information through the five senses plays a crucial role in keeping the mind and body in perfect coordination.

Cosmic energy passes through the body of the reiki channel or reiki healer to the patients during the treatment to the chakras

The flow of energy through the aura, chakras and the dependence of the physical body on the flow of energy for balancing chakras, endocrine organs and five elements is mandatory for a healer to keep himself and others healthy.

HOW DOES IT WORK

how does it work

Link between Chakras and Endocrine Glands

Each Major chakra is associated an endocrine gland. Endocrine glands, within the physical body, synthesize hormones .balancing of chakras with uninterrupted cosmic energy flow brings about endocrine balances (hormonal balance). When the mind is in balance, cosmic energy’s flow through the aura  and chakra is uninterrupted and smooth.

Diagnosis

Scanning the aura, chakras is done with palm chakra of the healer. Block for the flow of cosmic energy through aura or chakra is identified. Talking with the patient on his symptoms as experienced by the patient, duration of the disease, how and when it started about his background and life style, eating habits, mental make up are taken in to account for proper diagnosis.

The present symptoms, experiences, duration, frequency and intensity are recorded. Based on all the information from the patient, further diagnosis is done.  For diagnosis, no tool or machine or tests are required Scanning the aura and chakras by using palm chakras reveals the malfunctioning chakra.

Healing

1.Cleansing
2. Energising (beaming cosmic energy in to the chakras)

Cleansing the aura and chakra with palms removes the blocks for the flow of cosmic energy.

Energising

Healer channelises the cosmic energy from the cosmos to the patient’s chakras. The cosmic energy thus received by the patient’s chakras reaches the endocrine organs, neurotransmitters  and the organs. Cosmic energy sets right the imbalance; Balanced chakras results in balancing of endocrine glands(hormonal balancing). Slowly the cosmic energy reaches the diseased organs, replaces the accumulated negative energy. As the negative energy is released, at times, the problem may appear to have aggravated. But it is called the healing crisis and it subsides once the body fully releases the negative energy.

Chakras to be healed

The healer must heal understand the body systems and all the chakras affecting the organ and the system. For e.g. respiratory problems are not the resultant of a single organ but of multiple organs which are controlled by different chakras (See visual below). So the healer must heal all these chakras to remove the root cause of the problem.

Patient’s response

In Reiki, healing is done by cosmic energy. Unless the mind accepts the cosmic energy, it doesn’t reach the physical body. Hence patients consent, cooperation, full faith in the healing energy is required for success.

Healer

A Healer must have a purified soul, be humble, sincere, spiritual and honest.
Meditation on chakras makes the healer a perfect medium to transmit the cosmic energy. He should be a perfect Guru to talk about the healing power of cosmic energy created by the supreme soul and also transmit his energy without claiming anything personal.

To shorten the duration of healing other systems also can be combined, with Reiki. Since Magnetotherapy, acupuncture, acupressure, crystal involve the energy, most of the healers opt for these systems to heal.

Healers are created by reiki masters  by a sacred process termed attunement. Healer  gains the capacity to channelise the cosmic energy to heal the body and soul. Reiki healers gain knowledge of universal energy and chakras and the simple technique of drawing this abundant universal energy in to the invisible chakras. This is possible by meditation on chakras with associated Manthras. Manthras resonate with the movement of chakras, empower them and this abundant universal energy is drawn in to the chakras and transmitted into the physical body. Continuous, uninterrupted flow of universal energy through the seven layers of aura and finally through chakras with the inner auras maintain the chakras in balance. Balance of chakras resulting in balancing of all the five elements distributed in the chakras keep the mind free from stress.

Reiki Symbols

An important feature of Reiki is the symbols. Reiki symbols are used to focus energy for a specific purpose. Reiki symbols are used to access the Reiki energy both in performing healings and the attunement process. The Reiki symbols bring to the practitioner certain “flavors” of the Reiki energy, tuned to specific uses. They are taught only from Reiki II stage onwards.

Mooladhara chakra, Swadhishtana Chakra, Manipura chakra, Anahatha Chakra, Vishudha chakra, Ajna chakra and Sahasrara chakra

Distant healing

Distant healing is the reiki channel’s power to treat a person without the healer and the patient next to each other. In Reiki, intent is the key. The healer can ‘send’ the energy across time and space to the patient to receive the energy. It doesn’t sound easy to believe. Watching a live telecast of an event happening on the other side of the world, is also transfer of energy. Earth going around the sun is energy. The reason you are reading this page created somewhere else is also due to energy. Earth, sun, galaxy, universe all work only because of some form of energy. It’s the same all powerful energy that can cure a simple headache.

LEARNING REIKI

Attunement

In Reiki, unlike other healing systems, the master opens the chakras, connecting the student to the limitless source of universal energy. Attunement creates a healer and is called Reiki channel, empowered to channelise the universal healing energy, Reiki attunement is done at 3 levels.

I Degree attunement opening the crown, Ajna, Vishudha and Anahatha chakras, empowers the student to heal self and others. Self healing after attunement raises the vibrations of life force energy, enables the body to channelise the healing energy & body gradually gets rid of negative energy. All physical diseases can be healed.

II Degree attunement Students are initiated once again and are taught traditional and nontraditional symbols. Symbols are sacred tools which enhance the healing energy. Healing Karma, distant healing, non healing use of symbols ( energising machineries, establishment, Personality development, etc.,) are taught. Opening third eye enhances the psychic power, which makes distant healing possible.

III Degree

III A. Advance Reiki Training (ART)
Psychic surgery advance level of meditation to empower kundalini shakthi, crystal grid formation are taught.

III Master degree B
Attunement at this level creates a Reiki master, Training to conduct I and II degree classes and spread the message of universal love is imparted.

Grand master:- Attunement at this level creates a grandmaster who can create master.

Learn Reiki to lead a stress free life and create a disease free nation.
